Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
